Camping at Doi Inthanon
Well the hot season and rainy season are suppose to pass any day and it should be cold season...but we still sweat the second we step outside, so I am not to sure about that! We took a group of BK friends camping last weekend to the highest mountain in Thailand in hopes of getting some cooler weather. We played in the freezing cold water, hiked, saw waterfalls, built a fire, had smores and played capture the flag all in one day. The next day we had worship/church outside which was amazing. All these trips make us feel like parents...we were each driving a van and everyone else was sleeping!! We had a great time and we actually reached the highest place in thailand.

This was the road that was drivable a few weeks ago. We had to walk the rest of the way to the top for obvious safety reasons!!!

Halloween Bunko Costume Party
Well as you can probably guess Halloween is not a holiday in Thailand. And since Thai's love learning about American culture we thought we would have a fun party and use it as an opportunity to share. So that is what we did. The night consisted of games, music, food, bunko, and a testimony to the One True God. We had a blast...check out some of the pictures! Oh and it took us about 3 days to find the dry ice (they only sell it at 2 places in chiang mai) and our freezer was not cold enough to keep it...it almost fully melted before we could add it to our punch!!

SLIDER
A Visit to the Slider!!! A bunch of our Thai friends wanted to take a day trip to a city about 2 hours away. They said there was something called "slider" they really wanted to do. So we made a fun trip out of it...we ate at a famous noudle shop with the largest meatball ever, went to a ceramic factory, and experienced the slider!! Here is the infamous slider and pictures of our fun time!!
