Vacation--Panvima Hotel

The Thai New Year was this past week and the entire city shuts down for 3 days. Since our language was even cancelled for this holiday we decided to go to a little resort our friends had told us about. It was about 45 minutes from our home and it was up in the mountains...we had a blast as we stayed for two nights!!! A great time of rest and relaxation!

Op Khan National Park

This past Sunday a group of us went to Op Khan National Park to hang out and have fun!! It was beautiful as we were surrounded by the mountains. It is hot season right now so any chance to get in the water is taken! We sang songs, told a story, had a picnic, and swam. Here are some pics of us and our Thai friends...

BIRTHDAY BOY!

ROB'S BIRTHDAY WAS THIS PAST WEEK AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! WE WENT TO THE ZOO/AQUARIUM AND IT WAS QUITE AN EXPERIENCE. RATHER THAN HAVE THE ANIMALS IN CAGES THEY HAD SOME WALKING AROUND TO WHERE YOU COULD FEED THEM!! THE FENCE FOR THE GIRAFFE'S WAS ABOUT WAIST HIGH AND ONE OF THEM BENT DOWN ALL THE WAY TO ROB AS IF HE WAS BEGGING HIM TO FEED HIM; IT WAS HILARIOUS! YOU CAN EVEN FEED THE TIGERS, LEOPARDS, AND JAGUARS MEAT THROUGH THE FENCE. A LIABILITY MAYBE??? ANYWAYS, WE HAD A BLAST AND WANTED TO SHARE SOME PICS!!!
